About the Role:
The purpose of your role would be:
To work as a coach, in either a lead or assistant role, working closely with one of our talented Academy teams for 10 – 15 hours per week for the remainder of the season.
To work with our Academy players, leading and assisting sessions in line with our Academy curriculum, and tailored to the needs of each individual.
To not only follow our best practice sessions but to be creative with all session plans to achieve the desired outcomes.
To either lead the team on match days, or assist the Lead Coach, getting the best from the team and the individuals within it.
Key Features
- Key Duties & Responsibilities: To effectively educate Academy players on all aspects of the game, both on and off the pitch. To optimise player performance in training and on matchdays. To plan and deliver sessions for the Academy team that you are responsible for, and to work with the Lead Coach in the planning of sessions, ensuring that sessions are of the highest quality. To lead excellent sessions that enable players to maximise their potential. To educate players on the importance of all four corners of the FA’s Four Corner Model, whilst facilitating the improvement of each of these. To follow individual progress and report to the Academy Manager throughout the season. To work alongside all other coaches to ensure Bloomsbury Football’s Academy provision is of the highest level. Coaches are expected be professional at all times, both on and off the pitch. To actively include yourself as part of the Bloomsbury Football team, going above and beyond in line with our club’s values (positivity, preparation, respect and excellence).

- Requirements: Essential FA Level 1 FA Enhanced DBS Check FA Safeguarding FA First Aid Desired UEFA A, B or C License Previous experience coaching a variety of age groups
